Deborah Bonuccelli presents vivid and expressive paintings reflecting her optimistic outlook of the world around her.Born in Springfield, Illinois, Deborah began painting at the age of ten under the influence of her father, who also is an accomplished painter of oils on canvas. Deborah followed in her father's footsteps and also painted in oils. However through her association with leading Carmel artist, George Bleich, Deborah turned to acrylics on canvas. Deborah preferred the acrylics because they offered a greater purity and clarity of color essential to the expression of her personal vision. Although as a young woman she studied briefly with Darwin Musselman, a highly regarded California regional artist, she is primarily self-taught. |
