This Anniversary event is a celebration of family, friends and the customers who continue to support Gallery 1870, a family owned and operated business since 1994. On Friday and Saturday, August 29 and 30, 2008, Gallery 1870 will host Leon Roulette. Roulete is renowned for his Plein Air style. His Tuscan landscapes, mesmerizing florals and warm color palette, captures the essence of romantic indulgence. Roulette's work is reminiscent of the romantic landscape painters of the 18th and 19th Century. Gallery 1870 will feature more Leon Roulette originals than ever and is excited to present his collection. Come meet artist Leon Roulette and uncover the mystic intimacy of his paintings.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, 2008, Gallery 1870 will be hosting our local romantic realist artist Patrick O'Rourke. Patrick uses acrylic to portray the distinct colors of the land from the early morning mist on the vines in springtime, to the golden leaves of harvest. O'Rourke is one of Gallery 1870's most versatile artists from his many landscapes to still-lifes, airbrushed perfection to textured 3-dimensional masterpieces. Come celebrate the work of Patrick O'Rourke and be the first to see his newest originals.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, 2008, Gallery 1870 will host the renowned watercolor artist, Eric Christensen. Christensen is self-taught and is acknowledged as one of the top wine artists in the Country. His pursuit of perfection is revealed in the reflective glass that begs to be enveloped by the viewer's hand. Unique to Christensen is his ability to paint hyperreal paintings using standard watercolors. Please join Gallery 1870 as we unveil his newest originals. Even Gallery owners are waiting in suspense for a very special image yet to be revealed!
