Artist Statement:

For twenty years I have had the fortune of earning my living creating custom, hand carved doors and woodwork for clients who are passionate about creating authentic interiors.

Using only gouges (curved chisels), a small mallet and the techniques taught to me by an old woodcarver from Europe, I spend my days creating Old World-style doors, range hoods, vanities, wine cellars and, well, almost anything my clients imagine.

All of the hand carved pieces pictured here are my original designs.  They were inspired by the owner’s dreams, guided by historic examples and improved by the designer’s input.
