SUSAN HOEHN ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Renowned California artist Susan Hoehn is celebrated for her dynamic use of color, capturing the stunning beauty of the landscapes she paints. Known for her vivid depictions of California's wine country, Hoehn has been a prominent figure in the art world since the early 2000s. Her signature style, marked by brilliant hues, brings to life everything from sprawling vineyards to serene seaside vistas, encapsulating the essence of contemporary landscapes.
Hoehn earned her B.A. in Art from the University of California, Berkeley, where she honed her skills in various mediums. In the late 1970s, she studied painting under the tutelage of Joan Brown. During her time at Berkeley, she worked part-time for the University Bear Backers, creating brochure covers for athletic events and designing the poster for the USA vs. USSR International Track Event.
