Eric Christensen

Master watercolorist Eric Christensen is nationally recognized for his extraordinary hyperrealistic paintings of wine, vineyards, and the Wine Country lifestyle. A self-taught artist, Christensen developed a distinctive watercolor technique using layers of transparent color and meticulous dry-brush work to achieve remarkable depth, luminosity, and detail.

For more than two decades, Christensen has been one of Gallery 1870’s top-selling artists and a favorite among our Napa Valley collectors.
