About the Artist – Rainey Olson

Romantic Impressionist Rainey Olson is celebrated for her windows, doors, and vineyard landscapes that evoke peace and beauty.

Born in San Francisco, Olson now resides in Sonoma County’s Northern California Wine Country. Her passion for art began as a child, and her talent was shaped under the mentorship of Dutch-trained artist Andre Andreoli.

Early influences included Joseph William Turner’s mastery of color and the Impressionists’ love of light and atmosphere. Olson combines the softness of impressionism with the clarity of realism, creating works that transport viewers into tranquil, story-filled settings.

Her paintings often invite you to step through a door, gaze from a window, or walk down a vineyard path — letting each collector experience a moment of their own story within her art.
