Bull Market — Sold Out Limited Edition by Pete Tillack
Sold Out — Collector Archive. The original Bull Market painting and both numbered, artist-enhanced limited-edition Artist Proof canvas sizes have sold out. Gallery 1870 is pleased to feature this remarkable work as part of our Pete Tillack collector archive.
In Bull Market, Australian-born artist Pete Tillack imagines a herd of bison charging down Wall Street in New York City, joined by a watchful fox, a bird of prey, and a black grand piano. The surreal composition explores integrity, trust, individuality, and the importance of thinking beyond the crowd.
Artist's Statement — Bull Market
Integrity, equability and trust has been lost in many parts of society.
Although we are surround by all this 'BULL', it is up to us to break away from the herd and fly high, where we can then use our wisdom to play by our own music, rather than have our strings plucked by someone else!
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910) once stated that "If you don't read the paper, you're uninformed, but if you do read the paper, you're misinformed!"
— Tillack
(amendment - research Edward Bernays - 'Torches of Freedom' to understand this concept a little better)
