Original Acrylic | 4" × 4" | Hand-Rubbed Maple Frame (5" × 5" Framed)
Rich with color and Napa Valley charm, Castello Di Amorosa captures the warmth and romance of wine country in peak season. Karen Neely brings this iconic Tuscan-style castle to life, surrounded by glowing vineyard rows in brilliant autumn hues of gold, amber, and crimson.
The composition draws you through the vibrant foreground of vines toward the sunlit architecture beyond, with soft blue skies and distant greenery creating balance and depth. Neely’s expressive brushwork and layered textures give the piece a luminous quality—perfectly reflecting the golden light Napa Valley is known for.
This 4x4-inch original offers a slightly larger canvas for detail while maintaining the intimate, collectible nature of Neely’s miniature works. Framed in a custom hand-rubbed maple frame, the piece measures 5x5 inches overall and is ready to display.

About the Artist – Karen Neely
Karen Neely is a Northern California artist born in Monterey.
She has been painting since her youth, studying privately under her mother (a professional artist) as well as other renowned artists through her parents’ many galleries and art shows. She later continued her studies at Chico State, San Francisco State, and the Art Academy in San Francisco.
Her first award came at the age of 16, when she received the Bank of America–sponsored Junior Achievement Award, which helped fund her formal art education.
Today, Karen’s work is featured in several fine art galleries throughout California. Her time living in Hawaii, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Southern California, and near Northern California’s wine country inspires her creations. She can often be found painting outdoors—by the vineyards, along the coast, or lakeside.
While Karen works in mixed media on canvases up to 6x6 feet, she is especially known for her miniature acrylic originals, set in custom frames such as hand-rubbed maple and imported Italian mouldings.
