Artist's Statement — Internal Conflict
Aesop created metaphors based on practical wisdom and moral lessons to help guide thru the Opera of life’s countless dramatic and complexed journeys.
Many contain the lion and eagle opposing each other’s dominance, and the one that fed the seed for this piece is where the lion reigns over the land and the eagle rules the skies, both hungry for ultimate domain. Yet the specific strengths of each character makes it unable to attain what the other controls.
Jealousy can be a useful motivational tool, but to many, it is a deceitful emotion that hampers growth and vision.
Time is a currency that once gone, cannot be regained, so instead of spending it on a negative state of mind, assess what others have accomplished, then invest in your own unique abilities and strengths to find a way of achieving greater levels.
There are many ways to attain goals, and sometimes it is your own barriers that hamper you from taking the next step.

Ordering & Production Time
Artist Proof editions are custom produced to order. Each canvas is prepared, then hand-embellished, signed and numbered; framing is completed if selected.
Please allow approximately 3–6 weeks before tracking information is issued. Actual production timing may vary with the artist's schedule and framing requirements. Contact the gallery if you have a specific delivery deadline.
Shipping & Delivery
Gallery-wrapped artwork generally ships fully insured by UPS or FedEx, with a signature required. Larger specialty-framed paintings may require professional crating or a specialty art carrier.
