About the Artist – Patrick O'Rourke

For more than four decades, Patrick O'Rourke earned a devoted following for his romantic realism paintings celebrating the vineyards, oak trees, and rolling hills of Northern California Wine Country. His remarkable ability to capture light, atmosphere, and a true sense of place made him one of Gallery 1870's most collected artists.

Following health challenges that led to his retirement and his passing in 2026, Patrick's legacy lives on through a limited number of remaining original paintings and signed works. Today, his originals have become increasingly difficult to acquire, making each available painting an important part of his artistic legacy.
