Pink Piglet Miniature Original by Karen Neely – M2257
Original Acrylic | 2" × 2" | Framed 3" × 3" with Burl Hanger
A sweet and expressive miniature, Pink Piglet by Karen Neely features a softly rendered piglet standing in a grassy field dotted with delicate orange wildflowers. The gentle palette—blush pinks, warm creams, and soft greens—creates a light, cheerful mood, while the visible canvas texture adds depth and authenticity to this tiny original.
This piece is framed in a rich burl wood molding, adding warmth and character that beautifully complements the subject. Unlike traditional miniatures, this artwork is designed with a ribbon hanger, allowing for versatile and creative display.
As shown, it can be hung from the neck of a wine bottle—making it a perfect gift pairing for wine lovers—or displayed on a small easel, hung on a wall, or used as a seasonal ornament.

About the Artist – Karen Neely
Karen Neely is a Northern California artist born in Monterey.
She has been painting since her youth, studying privately under her mother, a professional artist, as well as other accomplished artists through her family’s involvement in galleries and art shows. She continued her formal education at Chico State, San Francisco State, and the Art Academy of San Francisco.
Karen received her first award at age 16—the Bank of America–sponsored Junior Achievement Award—which helped support her early development as an artist.
Her work is now featured in galleries throughout California. Drawing inspiration from her time in Hawaii, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Southern California, and Napa Valley, Karen often paints en plein air—capturing landscapes, coastal scenes, and countryside life.
While she creates larger mixed media works, she is especially known for her miniature acrylic originals, each thoughtfully finished and framed, often in custom Italian molding or distinctive wood frames.
