Born in Germany and raised in Sydney, Australia, Mars Lasar is a visionary multimedia artist celebrated for both his dynamic music career and his captivating fine art photography. Widely recognized for his platinum-award-winning compositions and more than 30 solo albums, Mars’ musical works have been featured in hit television and film productions including CSI, America’s Most Wanted, Medium, 24, MTV, and American Idol.

Guided by early artistic influences from his mother—a classically trained painter and art historian—Mars developed a lifelong fascination with light, atmosphere, and the emotional depth of the natural world. Now based in Northern California, he channels that same creative energy into his photography, blending traditional camera work with state-of-the-art digital artistry. The result is a body of work that is both dreamlike and contemporary, reflecting his distinctive sense of color, movement, and mood.

Mars explains, “I’m drawn to uniqueness and strive to capture the true essence of what I see. For me, it’s about revealing the world as I experience it—colorful, whimsical, and magnificent.” His artwork has found a devoted following among collectors and can be seen throughout Napa Valley in homes, wineries, and fine art spaces.
