There was something different in the air today. Without a trace of smoke, I was beckoned to take a walk in the beautiful town of Yountville. The crisp fall air was just perfect for taking in deep treasured breaths...breaths that were avoided after a 10 day cloud of smoke held the Napa Valley and surrounding areas captive. This morning I could smell wine in the air and this afternoon...I just couldn't help but to indulge in a piece of incredible chocolate from Kollar Chocolates and step outside our gallery (which I rarely do) and explore the beauty of Yountville. I must admit that days like this are always more enjoyable when chocolate is your companion.

On my walk, I couldn't help but think that today is the perfect day for enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a pastry from Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery and the "Cream of Tomato Soup in Puff Pastry" at Bistro Jeanty. Then I got to thinking, there mightn't be the usual line at the bakery, and I might not need the usual resevation at Bistro Jeanty.
So come enjoy the spendor of Yountville. Where you can experience Yountville's breathtaking views, thirst quenching wines, and mouth watering world renowned cuisine. When you visit, stop into the V Marketplace (a historic landmark built in 1870) and indulge in some world renowned Kollar Chocolates, and check out the fine art galleries and shops within.
Don't wait till the air turns colder and the leaves have all fallen from the vines and trees. Come enjoy the most wonderful time of the year in Yountville...FALL!
See You in Yountville Soon!
